We are hiring up to One (1) Bike Park Technician for the upcoming 2026 season:

 

  • One (1) positions:         April 7, 2026 – August 28, 2026

 

Schedule: Monday to Friday 7:00am – 3:30pm 

Position Summary:

As a member of the Landscape team, the Bike Park Technician reports to the Landscape Coordinator and is responsible for providing seasonal assistance in the upkeep and maintenance of the Chestermere Bike Park.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Help organize and prioritize daily tasks 
  • Inspect and located problem areas within the bike park 
  • Operate equipment to build and remove dirt jump features of the bike park 
  • Perform physical labour including constructing and maintaining jumps and trails
  • General daily maintenance of the park including jump maintenance, weeding, watering, litter picking
  • Interaction with users of and visitors to the park
  • Monitoring the park
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Ensures a safe and healthy work environment for staff, visitors, the community and stakeholders, e.g., participates in workplace safety initiatives, participates in formal and informal worksite safety and environment inspections and audits, ensures compliance with the City’s Health and Safety Management System, reports and assists in the analysis of near misses or incidents.

Required Education and Experience:

  • Grade 12 or GED preferred.

Compensation: Pay Grade will be determined by position placement.

Pay: 18.00/hr.- 21.00/hr. (you'll find the detailed information in Appendix A of the draft collective agreement)

Days of Work: Monday to Friday

Start Date: May 4 – End Date: August 28 subject to change
